Do hotels wash their down comforters after each guest?

I’m just curious, someday I’d like to own a high end boutique inn and I’d like to know if they typically wash their down comforters. I’d like to think yes, but I don’t know how this would work, because then you’d be ordering new ones all the time. If anyone who works in the industry could give me a heads up, I’d just like to know.

No they don’t because it would ruin the comforter. You should pull back the comforter before you lay in the bed because they carry a lot of germs you could get sick from.

Most don’t and some have duvet covers that they was after each guest, so the actual comforter doesn’t get washed but the cover will get washed.
