I’m just curious, someday I’d like to own a high end boutique inn and I’d like to know if they typically wash their down comforters. I’d like to think yes, but I don’t know how this would work, because then you’d be ordering new ones all the time. If anyone who works in the industry could give me a heads up, I’d just like to know.
No they don’t because it would ruin the comforter. You should pull back the comforter before you lay in the bed because they carry a lot of germs you could get sick from.

What colored walls would go good with black and white polka-doted duvet covers?
Heres the link:

I have half sky blue half light green walls (Bottom of the walls are green, top are blue) And I kind of wanted to change it. And I have all white furniture
I agree with doing a blue, like "interesting aqua" by sherwin williams:

I’m moving into college (PITT) next year and I need to know what are the minimum dimensions I can have for the sheets/comforters. Could someone help?

I have an extra room I need to turn into a guest room. The walls are yellow, and the trim/closet doors are white. I have a nice blue/yellow bedspread that matches the wall, but I need add bedroom furniture (headboard, nightstand etc.). What color furniture should I use? (Wood – light, white or black OR maybe metal?)
I’d go with white, for either metal or wood. It will look nice and clean along with the white trim. If you choose to do a natural wood, I’d keep it light.
Remember, even though white will show dirt, dark colors show the DUST!

If so here is my way and it works. The cover is inside out, and from the inside corners I grab the duvet then shake the cover over it. Once halfway it sometimes gets stuck but that is enough to keep it in place while I pull the rest to the bottom.
What good ideas work for you
Pilgrim velcro works well.
Pilgrim velcro works well.
I use exactly trhe same method, it does work very well. But i have often considered sewing poppers in the corners and on the duvet corners so they are fixed and i needn’t hold them in place with my hands … just a thought.

I recently stayed in one of the new remodeled rooms at the Disney Contemorary Resort and I fell in love the the new style comforters they have on the beds, they are big and fluffy and very warm, I’m wondering where I can buy them? I know they are duvet comforters but I have never slept on anything so fluffy.
contact the resort and ask for the Director of Housekeeping or Rooms Division Manager. they would be able to tell you the maker/brand of the product. more than likely it’s exclusively made for them but i’m sure there would be somethig similar. i have a feeling they are a down comfortor but not the cheesey ones you get for $100. they may be a mix of down, feathers and a synthetic type poly fill in int he center (if you laid on top of it)

Just bought a house and there’s a bedroom at the end of the hallway. There’s space in the backyard for the bedroom to be expanded, but I would like to know an estimate of the cost to make it bigger. The bedroom is 8ft x 10ft and I want to expand it to by 5ft so that it becomes 13ft x 10ft. Thanks!
what is your roof material? Is the site flat? Are there utilities that have to be rerouted during this remodel? What is the exterior material of the home? Another thing to consider is that for the amount of work that would be required to expand the room 5 feet, you should consider expanding it further. Another a couple of feet will not cost that much more. You may even consider a bath for that room or a walk in closet.

I can find lots of extra long twin sheets, but not comforters. Would a normal twin comforter work, or is there somewhere I can buy extra long ones?
A normal twin comforter will work, but Bed, Bath & Beyond should carry extra long comforters.
